Description

Key Responsibilities :

Project & Delivery Management

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Data Warehouse (DW) and Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, sprint schedules, and delivery roadmaps.
• Monitor progress, track dependencies, identify risks, and drive mitigation actions proactively.
  

Agile & Scrum Leadership

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure Scrum best practices, rules, and principles are followed across the teams.
• Coach development teams on Agile/Scrum practices, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Work with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to refine user stories and maintain a healthy product backlog.
  

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with data engineers, ETL developers, BI analysts, QA teams, cloud architects, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate clear communication across teams and ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
• Provide regular project updates, reports, performance metrics, and dashboards to leadership.
  

Data Warehouse Project Execution

• Oversee projects involving ETL pipelines, data modelling, data integration, data migration, reporting/analytics, and cloud data platforms.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability standards are met throughout the development cycle.
• Collaborate with technical teams to address data-related issues, system dependencies, and architectural challenges.
• Support UAT cycles, performance testing, and production deployment.
  

Continuous Improvement & Process Efficiency

• Identify gaps in processes, tools, and delivery practices; recommend and implement improvements.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and delivery excellence.
• Champion Agile maturity across the team and mentor members on iterative and incremental development.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills :

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Minimum 2 years managing Agile delivery and leading sprints.
• Demonstrable experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid models.
• Deep understanding of iterative and incremental development principles.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
  

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience managing Data Warehouse or Data Engineering projects.
• Understanding of ETL workflows, data modelling, SQL, and BI/reporting tools.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred.
• Experience working with Azure ADO Boards for sprint tracking and delivery.
• Familiarity with data governance, data integration, and analytics workflows.
  

Certifications (Preferred)

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• SAFe Program Consultant / SAFe Agilist
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or other Agile certifications are an added advantage.
