Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and well-connected Business Development Executive to expand our corporate events and travel client base in Kolkata and Eastern India. The role demands strong networking ability, a keen understanding of client needs, and the confidence to pitch premium services across both the events and travel sectors. Key Responsibilities: Identify and engage potential corporate clients, startups, institutions, and associations for event solutions (offsites, conferences, launches, team-building, brand activations, etc.). Pitch customized event ideas in alignment with client goals and brand ethos. Build relationships with HR, marketing, procurement, and leadership decision-makers. Create and present professional proposals and budgets. Work closely with the internal creative and operations teams for seamless project handover. Generate leads and drive sales for domestic and international holidays, corporate travel, and MICE tours. Develop relationships with corporate clients for managed travel and incentive trips. Promote group departures & MICE tours Leverage event-related discussions to cross-sell travel offerings where relevant. Candidate Requirements: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development or client servicing within the events, travel, hospitality, or luxury services industries. Strong local network and in-depth knowledge of the Kolkata business landscape. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, handle multiple accounts, and meet sales targets. Willingness to travel for meetings, client presentations, or event coordination. Graduate in any discipline; an MBA or a diploma in marketing/events/tourism is an added advantage. Preferred Attributes: A people-first mindset and natural relationship-building skills. Familiarity with corporate event formats and leisure travel trends. Ability to think creatively while presenting solutions to clients. Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
