Ticket Sales Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Ticketing and Reservation Agent to join our team in Kolkata . The ideal candidate should be proficient in using GDS systems and capable of handling all aspects of ticketing and reservations, including reissuance, refunds, and group bookings. This is a day-shift role (no night shifts or rotational hours) . Responsibilities: Issue fresh tickets and manage travel reservations accurately Process ticket reissuance and refunds as required Negotiate rates for group bookings and hotel reservations Coordinate with transport vendors and update booking notes Maintain accurate and detailed records Follow standard operating procedures at all times Requirements: Working knowledge of any GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan, etc.) Excellent spoken and written English communication skills Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients and travel partners Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Minimum 2 years of experience in ticketing/reservations IATA or Travel & Tourism certification is a plus Job Highlights: Convenient location near Park Circus, Kolkata Opportunity to work in a growing travel & tourism company Show more Show less
