Event Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

• Lead the operational planning and execution of corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, and experiential engagements.
• Translate creative concepts into practical execution plans with timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Conduct pre-event site inspections, risk assessments, and logistical planning.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and production partners.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of all materials, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate with internal teams (creative, client servicing, production, etc.) for smooth execution.

On-ground Management

• Supervise setup, rehearsals, event flow, and dismantling.
• Manage event staff, crew, and volunteers to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve last-minute challenges during the event.

Budget & Compliance

• Prepare and track event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Oversee compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Post-Event Reporting

• Conduct debrief sessions to evaluate event success and areas of improvement.
• Maintain documentation and MIS reports for internal records and client reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities.
• Hands-on experience with event production, AV, staging, and logistics.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in event operations management (corporate events preferred).
• Proven track record of executing large-scale events.
