Event Manager

As an Event Manager based in Chandigarh with a minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, execution, and client acquisition, your role will involve managing various events like weddings, entertainment shows, corporate promotions, and cultural festivals in Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and convert leads into long-term clients from Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh - Develop and pitch creative event proposals - Maintain relationships with existing clients for repeat business - Conceptualize, plan, and manage all aspects of events - Handle budgeting, scheduling, venue selection, and final execution - Coordinate logistics, technical arrangements, and event flow - Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors for decor, logistics, catering, lights, and sound - Manage and coordinate artists, celebrities, performers, anchors, DJs, musicians, dancers, and influencers - Supervise a team of event coordinators and support staff - Lead on-ground execution with a hands-on approach - Develop event proposals with accurate costing and creative inputs - Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to achieve sales targets - Ensure profitability and cost efficiency - Maintain financial records and submit event-wise reports Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of relevant event management experience - Proven track record in managing weddings, corporate events, concerts, promotions, and cultural shows - Experience in artist liaison and celebrity management - Strong client relationship and negotiation skills - Solid understanding of event logistics and operations - Team management and leadership abilities - Excellent communication and time-management skills - Proficiency in MS Office, event planning tools, and basic design software is a plus - Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred - Willingness to travel within Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh In this role, you will have a competitive salary, 2% incentive on closed deals or acquired projects, and the opportunity to work on high-profile and celebrity-driven events.
