Location: Chandigarh, Punjab Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Event Management & Entertainment About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Event Manager based in Chandigarh with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in event planning, execution, and client acquisition. The role involves managing various types of events including weddings, entertainment shows, corporate promotions, and cultural festivals, along with client acquisition in Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh . Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition & Business Development Identify and convert leads from Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh into long-term clients Develop and pitch creative event proposals and presentations Maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business Event Planning & Execution Conceptualized, planned, and managed all aspects of events Handle budgeting, scheduling, venue selection, and final execution Coordinate logistics, technical arrangements, and event flow Vendor & Artist Management Sourced, negotiated, and coordinate with vendors for decor, logistics, catering, lights, and sound Maintain a strong vendor database for efficient event execution Manage and coordinate artists, celebrities, performers, anchors (emcees), DJs, musicians, dancers, and influencers Handle artist bookings, travel, stay, hospitality, and on-ground coordination Team Leadership Supervise a team of event coordinators and support staff Trained and delegated tasks effectively to ensure flawless event delivery Lead on-ground execution with a hands-on approach Sales, Proposals & Revenue Growth Develop event proposals with accurate costing and creative inputs Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive business growth Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets Financial Oversight Manage event budgets and vendor payments Ensure profitability and cost efficiency Maintained financial records and submitted event-wise reports Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of relevant event management experience Proven track record in managing weddings, corporate events, concerts, promotions, and cultural shows Experience in artist liaison and celebrity management Strong client relationship and negotiation skills Solid understanding of event logistics and operations Team management and leadership abilities Excellent communication and time-management skills Proficiency in MS Office, event planning tools, and basic design software is a plus Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred Willingness to travel within Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh Compensation & Incentives: Competitive Salary (based on experience) Incentive of 2% on closed deals or acquired projects Opportunity to work on high-profile and celebrity-driven events Growth potential within a creative and fast-paced environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Work Location: In person
