Hiring for a Solar Manufacturing Company based at Haryana Location. Job Title : EPC Head & Project Acquisition (Solar) Location : Karnal (Haryana) – 6 Days. Department : EPC / Business Development / Project Development Reports To : Director – Projects / COO Experience Required : 15+ years in EPC within the renewable energy (preferably solar) sector Key Responsibilities: EPC Management: Lead the full EPC cycle for utility-scale and C&I solar projects (ground-mounted and rooftop). Coordinate and supervise internal and external engineering teams for system design and optimization. Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring on-time and within-budget execution. Oversee procurement of materials and components, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timeline compliance. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all project phases. Lead construction management, contractor oversight, and site operations. Project Acquisition & Business Development: Identify and evaluate new solar project opportunities in India and/or international markets. Build and maintain relationships with landowners, developers, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Conduct due diligence on land acquisition, permits, and feasibility studies. Negotiate and finalize project acquisition deals including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and EPC contracts. Develop financial models, prepare investment memos, and support bid submissions. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/mechanical/civil engineering or related field. MBA or additional business qualification is an added advantage. Minimum of 15 years of experience in EPC, with at least 5 years in a leadership/project acquisition role in solar. Proven track record in acquiring and executing utility-scale solar projects (50 MW+ preferred). Strong network with IPPs, DISCOMs, project developers, and EPC players. Expertise in regulatory frameworks, tendering processes, and contract negotiation. Excellent project management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation capabilities.
