Role Overview

We are hiring an Enterprise Field Sales Manager to drive relationship-led, consultative sales of Ontoborn’s service packages through in-person enterprise engagement.

This role is responsible for:

  • Building long-term strategic relationships
  • Positioning Ontoborn as a transformation partner
  • Closing high-value, multi-phase engagements

This is not an inside sales or telecalling role.

What You Will Sell (Service Packages)

1. Migration & Modernization

  • Legacy PHP / Java / monolith systems → modern stacks (React, Golang, cloud-ready)
  • Excel-based workflows → internal web applications
  • On-premise → cloud / hybrid systems
  • Phased migration with risk mitigation and post-go-live ownership

2. Automation & Internal Tools

  • Workflow automation for operations, finance, compliance, and support
  • AI-assisted process automation and reporting
  • Custom internal dashboards, approvals, and controls

3. GTM Engineering

  • CRM setup, cleanup, and automation
  • Lead routing, pipeline automation, RevOps tooling
  • Marketing automation, analytics, and system integrations

4. Mobile Application Development

  • Enterprise mobile apps for internal teams and partners
  • Customer-facing mobile apps (B2B / B2C)
  • iOS, Android, and cross-platform builds integrated with backend systems

5. Rapid “Vibe-Coding” Apps

  • Fast, iterative app builds for MVPs and pilots
  • Collaborative development with quick feedback loops
  • Time-boxed, outcome-driven engagements (weeks, not months)

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Field Sales & Deal Ownership

  • Conduct in-person meetings with CXOs, Heads of IT, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance
  • Diagnose business and technology problems and map them to Ontoborn’s service packages
  • Own the full sales cycle: discovery → proposal → negotiation → closure
  • Close ₹20L–₹1Cr+ multi-phase enterprise engagements
  • Qualify out low-value and price-shopping prospects early

Relationship Building & Strategic Positioning

  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Position Ontoborn as:
  • A low-risk migration partner
  • An automation and efficiency enabler
  • A GTM systems and revenue-tech partner
  • A fast validation partner for new ideas
  • Maintain relationships beyond deal closure to drive:
  • Expansion revenue
  • Repeat engagements
  • Multi-department adoption
  • Navigate enterprise politics, procurement cycles, and internal alignment

Strategic Account Development

  • Identify and develop strategic accounts, not transactional deals
  • Create account entry and expansion strategies
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for key enterprise clients
  • Provide continuous market feedback to leadership

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 15–25 qualified enterprise field meetings per month
  • 5–8 package-based proposals per month
  • 1–2 closed enterprise deals per month
  • Growth of strategic accounts and repeat revenue

Required Experience & Profile

  • 6+ years in B2B enterprise field sales
  • Experience selling IT services, digital transformation, SaaS, or app development
  • Comfortable selling structured service packages, not ad-hoc projects
  • Strong ability to articulate ROI, risk, and phased delivery
  • Proven relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
  • Bengaluru enterprise market exposure preferred
