Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to articulate a compelling vision for enterprise architecture, developing a target state, and creating a transformation roadmap that aligns with organizational goals. You will engage in discussions that shape the future of the enterprise's technological landscape, ensuring that all architectural decisions support the overall business strategy and operational efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure environments aligned with AWS Well-Architected best practices.
- Set up and manage AWS Landing Zones, including multi-account structures, security baselines, and compliance controls.
- Establish and manage network connectivity protocols, firewall configurations, VPC peering, and routing tables to enable seamless interconnectivity across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform for consistent, repeatable deployments.
- Implement auto-scaling and high-availability solutions tailored to application and platform architecture needs.
- Integrate monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and AWS CloudTrail for observability and governance.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Provide technical leadership in cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including assessment, design, and execution aligned with the 6Rs of migration.
- Participate in client-facing discussions to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, performance tuning, and operational excellence. Professional & Technical Skills:
- Total Experience: 6–12 years in the IT industry, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience on AWS.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (mandatory). AWS Professional or Specialty certifications are a plus.
- Infrastructure Expertise: Strong background in infrastructure design, automation, and management across compute, network, storage, and security domains.
- Scripting & Automation: Proven ability to develop and maintain automation using CloudFormation, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
- Cloud Migration & Modernization: Good understanding of the 6Rs (Rehost, Replatform, Repurchase, Refactor, Retire, Retain) and application modernization patterns.
- DevOps Practices: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (ECS/EKS), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or AWS Systems Manager).
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, CloudFront, S3, Lambda, and related observability tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and client-interfacing capabilities, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in AWS Core Infrastructure. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
