To provide design engineering support by developing, reviewing, and optimizing product and system designs in alignment with technical standards and project requirements. The role ensures high-quality, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions by applying advanced engineering principles and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

Design Development and Optimization

• Develop detailed engineering designs, layouts, and 3D models using CAD and other design software.
• Ensure all designs meet functional requirements, safety standards, and manufacturability guidelines.
• Optimize existing designs to improve performance, reduce cost, and enhance ease of production.

Drawing and Documentation Review

• Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and design documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal and international standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, ISO).

Technical Validation and Feasibility

• Conduct design calculations, simulations, and tolerance analysis to validate functionality and structural integrity.
• Participate in design reviews, prototyping, and design verification testing.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with production, procurement, quality, and R&D teams to ensure seamless translation of designs into finished products.
• Resolve design-related issues during production or assembly phases and implement required modifications.

Standards and Compliance

• Ensure all design activities are in compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support certification processes and documentation as needed for customer and regulatory approvals.

Innovation and Product Improvement

• Identify opportunities for new product development or design enhancements.
• Support value engineering initiatives and contribute to design standardization and modularization efforts.

Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing

• Provide technical guidance to junior designers and engineers.
• Support development of design manuals, libraries, and best practice references.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain up-to-date design records, change logs, and design approval documentation.
• Generate technical reports and contribute to project status updates and design presentations.

HR Proficiency:

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
