Job responsbilites
- Leads and manages duties (assigned to him/her) under supervision of the [Manager of Engineering].
- Implementation of company's Growth Strategy
- Implementation and optimization of Company's KPIs: Cost of Competence, Efficiency, Billing Rate, Quality and On-time delivery
- Maintain an active organization chart with roles and responsibilities of each employee
- Appraisal discussions and employee evaluation
- Recruitment and onboarding of new employees in cooperation with relevant Rejlers Abu Dhabi personnel
- Exit procedure in cooperation with relevant Abu Dhabi personnel
- Personnel welfare activities in cooperation with relevant team in Abu Dhabi personnel
- Coaches project team members
- Cooperates with Abu Dhabi Sales, QHSE, Engineering, PM/Project Control, Finance & CT and HR & Administration to meet Company targets and Strategic intents
- Ensures safe, quality, timely and cost-efficient assignments’ implementation
- Ensures high resource capacity utilization and efficiency in assignments
- Suggests training and improvements on a need basis
- Ensure that hardware and software for assignments are available and efficiently utilized
- Acts as frontline towards Indian (EDC) partners and subcontractors, suppliers in assignments
- Reports efficiently, timely and proactively to the management on assignment activities, deviations and achievements (minimum weekly basis)
- Measures and reports reliably assignments’ progress (PoC), productivity efficiency, remaining work, cost and time to have proper and trustworthy revenue and cost recognition and financial (Gross Margin) forecasting
- Suggests and implements timely and actively improvements in overall performance
- Ensures the agreed assignments’ deliverables are delivered in accordance with agreed quality, scope and schedule.
- Verifies all scope variations from scope, time and cost perspective, and presents them to management of Abu Dhabi
- Is responsible for the planned cashflow is achieved
- Ensures that all interdisciplinary checks and other quality checks are effectively performed
Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate (BSc. or MSc.) or master’s degree
- PMP certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience of relevant experience in the industrial engineering sector of which minimum 4 years in Oil & Gas (onshore and/or offshore), Refining, Petrochemical or Chemical Industries
- Experienced in all stages of engineering
- Held positions in Engineering Management. (Project Manager and/or Engineering Manager)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent people management skills
- Willingness and ability to meet tight deadlines, overcome challenges and pressure during peak of activities
- Fluent in English language, both in verbal and written
