The role involves designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems that power trading, risk management, and analytics platforms for our Investment Banking clients. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of software engineers working on trading, risk, or post-trade systems. Collaborate closely with product managers, quants, traders, and other stakeholders to define project scope and technical requirements. Drive the entire software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Ensure systems meet high standards of scalability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance. Maintain code quality and technical excellence via code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring. Align with enterprise architecture standards, including cloud migration and DevOps best practices. Manage project delivery timelines, resource planning, and risk mitigation. Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in software development, technical leadership, or engineering management. Strong technical expertise, especially in backend architecture and scalable system s. Deep domain knowledge in Capital Markets: equities, fixed income, derivatives, or FX trading systems. Familiarity with FIX protocol, market data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters), and trading algorithms is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Proven ability to lead agile teams and deliver complex, high-impact technology solutions.
