About the role
Name of the position: EMI EMC Responsible
Educational Qualification: Bachelor or Postgraduate from Mechanical / Mechatronics/ Production/ Automobile
Position Description:
To Indipendently study the functionality of the systems/ sub system/component and define EMC Test specifications and Test Menu details. Conduct testing and support homologation team to test components and vehicles for EMC Area. Analyse the problems observed in the testing and resolve the problems with the help of supplier and designers interactions. Understand and perform the periodic maintenance and calibration of the EMC Chamber and other related instruments..
Roles & Responsibilities:
EMC Test Menu and DVP.
Study the Sub system and system level schematics understanding the EMC scenario arising at system level. Work jointly with designer to understand the component functionality
EMC Testing.
Develop the required test set up for the components test / system as per the defined test menu and test cases. Perform the EMC testing of the components and Sub system capturing required values / parameters to judge the results of the test as per defined acceptance criteria of the test. Perform vehicle level test for various EMC test modes and define the vehicles based on the test results. Preparation of type approval vehicle based on the internal testing results and support for EMC type approval of the vehicle with testing agency with the support of Homologation team.
- Analysys of test results, report preparation / support for resolution of test failures.
- Capture the test results analyse them and compile the results in Reports releasing the test reports to meet the timelines of the tests as per model schedule. Perform the various test cases to correlate the failures, analyse them and support the design team to take countermeasure to meet the required EMC specification. The ability to Propose countermeasure is an advantage
- LAB Maintenance, Calibration and NABL documentation support. Define the periodicity of Lab mainteinance schedule, calibration requirements of the equipments and perform them as per required periodicity. Understand the requirement of NABL Lab accreditation, mantain the required documentation and records supporting for NABL activities of the lab.
