Deputy Manager/ Manager - Legal

JOB PURPOSE To support and manage legal operations, with a focus on trademark functions, intellectual property rights, contract management, and compliance. The role ensures adherence to legal procedures, effective negotiation, and accurate MIS reporting while contributing to the organizations legal health and efficiency. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Functional Responsibilities Conduct trademark searches and manage end-to-end trademark processes, including filing, registration, and renewal. Handle examination responses, oppositions, counter-statements, and IP litigation. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in alignment with legal standards. Perform IP filings, monitor registrations, and maintain relationships with the IP office. Ensure accurate and timely MIS reporting and database management. Provide legal support for civil and criminal court procedures. Stay updated with legal and regulatory changes relevant to the industry. JOB REQUIREMENTS Qualifications & Experience Education: Law Graduate Experience: 5 - 10 years Gender: Male Age: 38 and Below Preferred Industry: Automobile/ Manufacturing Sector Should be prepared to travel as and when required Functional Competencies Must-To-Go Skills: Expertise in trademark search, filing, and registration processes. Strong drafting and negotiation skills for contracts and legal documentation. Knowledge of IP filings, oppositions, litigation, and court procedures. Proficiency in MIS reporting and maintaining legal databases. Good-To-Go Skills: Experience in the automobile or manufacturing sector. Knowledge of emerging trends in IP law and contract management. Familiarity with cross-border legal and IP issues. Prior exposure to technology-driven IP tools or systems.
