We are looking for a Production Engineer – Electronics to oversee and optimize the manufacturing process of electronic products. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, maintain quality standards, and troubleshoot any technical issues in the production line. Key Responsibilities: Production Supervision: Manage and monitor the assembly, testing, and quality control of electronic products. Process Optimization: Improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance workflow. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues in PCB assembly, soldering, and testing. Component & Inventory Management: Ensure proper stock of electronic components and work with the procurement team. Quality Control & Testing: Conduct functional testing, reliability tests, and inspections to maintain product quality. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all products meet BIS, CE, RoHS, and other industry regulations. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain production logs, technical reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Team Coordination: Work closely with R&D, procurement, and quality assurance teams. Equipment Calibration & Maintenance: Ensure that all testing and assembly equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or B.Sc. Electronics. Experience: 2-5 years in electronics manufacturing or production engineering. Technical Skills: Knowledge of PCB assembly, SMT, through-hole soldering, and rework techniques. Experience with testing tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers. Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and power electronics. Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Altium, KiCad, Eagle (for PCB design) & ERP/Tally for inventory management. Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits and resolve production challenges. Process Improvement: Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma (preferred). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in SMT machine operation and automation in production. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ESD safety, and quality management systems.
