Electronics Production Engineer

As a candidate for the position, your role will involve studying the scope of supply and BOM received from the Design Department and creating a project time plan after analyzing all activities. You will be responsible for releasing BOM for ordering by selecting suitable suppliers and monitoring the daily progress report using the time plan to keep the customer updated. Ensuring timely delivery of all materials with the assistance of the purchase department and stabilizing existing processes while seeking improvements are crucial tasks. Additionally, you will be required to create process flows for Standard Products, manage the minimum inventory of frequently used items in collaboration with the stores department, and ensure accurate BOMs are entered into SAP with the help of the SAP coordinator. Your key responsibilities will also include reviewing mechanical projects, production, and drawings with project engineers/team leaders, addressing project-related issues with management and cross-functional departments during review meetings, and providing support to the design team in resolving parts selection and design-related issues. You will assist in costing parts for the marketing/design team, handle escalations from various functions within the mechanical department and customers, and support the installation team with any queries that may arise. Furthermore, you should be prepared to travel on-site for technical discussions, interact with customers, and address on-site problems effectively. An interest in working on electric vehicle testing is desired for this role. Qualifications: - Education level: BE in Electronics/Instrumentation (E&TC) or Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications - 4-6 years of experience, preferably in the SPM or engine testing industry - Technical skills: - Proficiency in PLCs, HMI, VFDs of various makes - Familiarity with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) - Expertise in Siemens/Mitsubishi/Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI & SCADA programming - Good understanding of basic electronics, instrumentation, and industrial sensors In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, you will be expected to work full-time on a permanent basis.
