Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical machines, systems, and equipment.
• Inspect electrical components (motors, panels, wiring, relays, PLCs, drives) and ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
• Diagnose faults using testing tools like multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, etc.
• Repair or replace defective parts to minimize downtime.

Installation & Commissioning

• Assist in installing new electrical equipment, panels, and wiring systems.
• Support commissioning and testing of new machinery and electrical upgrades.
• Ensure installations comply with electrical codes and safety standards.

Troubleshooting

• Respond to emergency breakdown calls and resolve electrical issues promptly.
• Analyze recurring problems and suggest improvements to prevent future failures.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout-tagout (LOTO), and company policies.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed logs of maintenance works, repairs, and electrical checks.
• Report major faults and maintenance requirements to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
• Keep inventory of tools, spare parts, and electrical components.

3. Required QualificationsEducation

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• 2–5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment (preferred).

Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and PLC logic (basic knowledge preferred).
• Hands-on experience with motors, control panels, VFDs, sensors, and industrial machines.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of safety procedures and electrical standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
