Work Location - South Sudan (East Africa) Exp - 6-9 years BE / B.Tech in Electrical Should have worked Overseas Industry - Oil & Gas Return Air Ticket + Visa + Food + Shared Accommodation + 1 month paid leave in every 6 months* Duties and Responsibility Manage and coordinate all project activities to ensure the timely completion of project construction and commissioning without compromising Quality, HSE requirements & Cost of the Project. Supervision, Installation, testing, Pre commissioning and Commissioning of 33KV Ring Main Units, 33kv switchgear and MV switchgear Installation, testing, Pre commissioning and Commissioning Power Transformers, Distribution Transformerand Main Distribution Boards. Perform the routine tests of the transformers like IR Test, Turns Ratio Test ,Winding resistance test and BDV test. Well knowledge in Schematic diagrams of Switchgears, MCC& Local Control panels. UPS installation, Motor testing and commissioning. Construction and commissioning of Plant earthing and lightning protection system, Lighting system , and heat tracing system. Ensures that the tests, controls, inspections and other activities are carried out according to the schedule, specification and approved Quality Plan in compliance with the required HSE standards. Excellent comprehension of project specifications. Selection of electrical equipment, cable sizes, and protection type, as well as review of drawings, calculations, design reports, and so on. Take part in inter-discipline coordination work between engineers from other disciplines to ensure quality and interfacing of electrical part in larger package supplies. Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements. .Manpower planning and estimation, and preparation of failure analysis reports (FAR) and recommendations to avoid recurrence. Preparation of Job Method statement and execution procedures Reviews, verifies accuracy and consistency of engineering drawings, specifications & Vendor Documents. Planning, controlling and supervising of all electrical activities like tray works, cable laying, , cable laying, cable glanding and termination, loop checking, conduiting. Modification of engineering design as per site requirements for proper execution.
