Role

Activity vs Responsibility

Ø Electrical Maintenance of machines Maintain and repair electrical systems of extrusion machines, high speed mixers, cutters, cooling lines, granulators, and other PVC/uPVC equipment.

Ø Preventive & Predictive maintenance Perform regular inspections and schedule maintenance of motors, drives, wiring, and panels to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Ø Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical circuits, PLCs, VFDs, and control panels to ensure smooth plant operations.

Ø Installation & Commissioning Support in installing, wiring, and commissioning new machines, electrical panels, and production line expansions.

Ø Energy Monitoring Monitor power consumption of extrusion and auxiliary machines, suggest measures to save energy and optimize electrical usage.

Ø Safety & Compliance Ensure proper earthing, functioning of safety interlocks, adherence to electrical safety standards, and compliance with statutory regulations.

Ø Documentation Maintain detailed records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance schedules, energy reports, and service logs.

Ø Coordination with Production Work closely with production and mechanical teams during breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure continuous manufacturing flow.

Ø Spare Parts & Inventory Check availability of critical electrical spares (motors, relays, fuses, sensors) and coordinate with stores for timely procurement.

Ø Emergency Handling Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, power failures, or equipment breakdowns to restore operations safely

Qualifications & Skills

ITI /

Ø 1-2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance. (PVC/uPVC or plastic industry preferred).

Ø Hands-on experience with PLC, VFDs, motors, control circuits, and high-load electrical panels.

Ø Strong knowledge of extrusion and mixing line machinery.

Ø Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings & schematics.

Ø Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and safety awareness skills.
