Position: Lead Electrical Engineering

Location: Noida (Sector 62), Uttar Pradesh
Department: Electrical Engineering
Reporting to: Engineering Head

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight for electrical engineering across all renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS, green hydrogen, etc.).
Lead design, engineering, and implementation workflows for high-voltage substations, switchyards, evacuation systems, and grid interconnections.
Oversee multiple teams—transmission, evacuation, site engineering, O&M, automation, and control.
Ensure compliance with statutory approvals (CTU/STU connectivity, Section 68/164, PTCC, forest/railway/aviation/NH crossings, CEIG, metering, telemetry, NRLDC/SLDC synchronization)
Develop and enforce electrical standards, single-line diagrams, switchgear designs, and commissioning guidelines.
Implement rigorous quality, safety, and regulatory compliance protocols.
Mentor engineering teams and drive talent development initiatives.
Collaborate with procurement, project management, EPC, and quality teams to optimize timelines, costs, and efficiency.
Analyze performance metrics and lead continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Power Systems / Renewable Energy preferred).
Experience:

15+ years in electrical engineering within renewable energy (solar, wind, BESS, etc.), including at least 5–10 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Exposure to grid connectivity, high-voltage transmission, and evacuation systems is essential

Technical Skills & Tools:

Proficiency in engineering design and simulation tools (MATLAB, ETAP, DigSilent, PSS®E, HOMER, PSCAD, etc.).
Expertise with approval processes, regulatory bodies, and electrical safety standards.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

Strong stakeholder management and interdepartmental coordination skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

Desirable Attributes

Prior experience with BESS architecture or hybrid systems (solar + BESS) is a plus.
Familiarity with automation, SCADA, and control systems in manufacturing or renewable settings
