Secured Engineers Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for the role of Head of Estimation and Design in our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) department. Situated in Ludhiana and reporting directly to the Managing Director, this pivotal role demands a candidate with extensive expertise in the MEP industry. The selected individual will oversee all estimation and design activities, focusing on maintaining margins as per management guidelines and obtaining market rates for upcoming projects.Key Responsibilities:

Project Estimation: Lead the team in formulating detailed, accurate project estimates in accordance with management guidelines on profitability margins.
Design Oversight: Supervise the design team to ensure MEP designs are both cost-effective and in compliance with industry standards.
Market Research: Responsible for obtaining rates from the market to inform project estimations and maintain cost-effectiveness.
Team Leadership: Manage and guide the estimation and design teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Margin Maintenance: Strictly adhere to the profitability margins set by the management for all projects.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all estimates and designs meet the highest quality and compliance benchmarks.
Risk Management: Evaluate potential risks in projects and strategize solutions for mitigation.
Interdepartmental Liaison: Coordinate with other departments, including sales and project management, for aligned and smooth project execution.

Key Result Areas (KRA):

Cost Efficiency: Ensuring project estimates align with actual costs, maintaining profitability.
Design Excellence: High level of client satisfaction based on the efficacy and compliance of designs.
Market Rate Accuracy: Successful incorporation of market-obtained rates in project estimations.
Team Performance: Effective management and performance monitoring of the estimation and design teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

Margin Accuracy: Maintenance of profitability margins as per management guidelines across projects.
Client Satisfaction Index: Ratings or feedback regarding the quality and reliability of project designs.
Rate Verification Accuracy: Degree to which obtained market rates have been accurately incorporated into project estimates.
Team Efficiency Metrics: Measures such as project milestones met and tasks completed per team member.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive experience in MEP estimation and design.
Strong leadership and managerial skills.
Proficiency in using industry-relevant software for design and estimation.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
An engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields is strongly preferred.
