As an authorized System Integrator for Schneider Electric India Pvt Ltd. and Parker Hannifin, we provide complete solutions for Process, Plant, and Machine automation. Our expertise spans PLC applications, Stepper/Servo Control, Positioning, SCADA & MIS Systems, and AC/DC Drives & Power Control. Job Summary: The Senior Electrical Panel Designer is responsible for the design and development of electrical control panels including LT panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD panels, and PLC-based systems. This role involves preparing detailed schematic and layout drawings, BOMs, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications. The Senior Designer will mentor junior designers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Control Panel Design: Design electrical control panels (MCC, PCC, PLC, VFD panels, etc.) using CAD software like AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Select appropriate components: circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, contactors, VFDs, etc. Schematic & Wiring Diagram Creation: Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring schematics, and terminal diagrams. Prepare bill of materials (BoM). PLC/SCADA Integration: Coordinate with automation engineers for PLC I/O mapping and SCADA requirements. Design panels that integrate with PLCs, HMIs, and other field devices. Project Coordination: Interact with project managers, clients, and vendors to gather specifications. Support panel fabrication, assembly, and testing. Testing and Commissioning: Support factory acceptance testing (FAT). Assist in site installation and commissioning, ensuring panels function as intended. Safety and Compliance: Follow electrical safety codes and design for heat dissipation, accessibility, and fault protection. Ensure panels are designed for maintainability and reliability.  Required Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar tools. Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, etc.). Understanding of electrical standards (IEC, UL, IS). Familiarity with control philosophies, panel layout, and enclosure design. Good documentation and communication skills. Required Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical panel design Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN (preferred), and MS Office. Strong understanding of electrical schematics, power/control circuit design, and panel layout. Familiarity with components from major brands (e.g., Schneider Electric, Siemens, ABB).
