Role Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Specialist with proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (CDP) to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of customer data-driven solutions.The role requires a deep understanding of customer data platforms, data modeling, segmentation, and integration, coupled with strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem.The ideal candidate will translate complex data into actionable insights that enhance marketing, sales, and customer experience strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation :

  • Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights solutions.
  • Define data ingestion strategies to unify data across multiple systems (CRM, ERP, marketing, web analytics, and social media platforms).
  • Architect and implement scalable data models for customer profiling and segmentation.

Integration & Data Management

  • Develop and manage integrations between Customer Insights and Power Platform, Dynamics 365 CRM, and Azure Data Services.
  • Utilize Azure Data Factory, Power Query, or other ETL tools to cleanse, transform, and load data efficiently.
  • Establish data pipelines and workflows to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

Analytics & Insights Delivery

  • Create unified customer views and advanced segments to drive targeted campaigns and personalized engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and service teams to define KPIs and build interactive dashboards using Power BI.
  • Leverage predictive analytics and AI capabilities within Customer Insights to uncover behavioral trends and opportunities.

Governance & Optimization

  • Define and implement data governance, lineage, and privacy frameworks aligned with GDPR and CCPA.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and data freshness within Customer Insights environments.
  • Continuously evaluate new Microsoft features, updates, and best practices to enhance solution performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders, translating data-driven requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct user training, workshops, and documentation sessions to build organizational capability in Customer Insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments to manage priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 78 years of overall IT experience with at least 23 years dedicated to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
  • In-depth understanding of Customer Data Platform (CDP) concepts, identity resolution, and customer journey analytics.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Proficiency with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CRM/CE and integration patterns.
  • Sound knowledge of data modeling, segmentation logic, and KPI frameworks.
  • Awareness of data privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Microsoft Certifications such as Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Functional Consultant or Power Platform Solution Architect.
  • Industry experience in retail, financial services, or healthcare with large customer data ecosystems.
  • Exposure to AI/ML features within Customer Insights for predictive modeling and churn analysis.
  • Experience with Azure Machine Learning or Cognitive Services integration.
  • Strong grounding in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
