This is a full-time on-site role for an Edutech Sales Manager in Chennai. The Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including lead generation, pitching products, negotiating contracts, and maintaining client relationships in the education sector.
1. Sales Strategy & Market Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector, including schools, colleges, universities, and training centers across the UAE.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the UAE education market.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (principals, academic heads, procurement officers) in educational institutions.
Provide product demonstrations and consultations to potential clients, aligning solutions with their specific requirements.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through continuous engagement and after-sales support.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, events, and digital channels.
Qualify leads, manage the sales funnel, and ensure timely follow-ups.
Drive the complete sales cycle – from initial contact to deal closure.
Gain a deep understanding of the company’s EdTech products, features, and benefits.
Deliver professional product presentations and training sessions to prospective clients.
Customize product solutions based on client feedback and institutional needs.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Track sales performance regularly and report on progress, pipeline, and forecasts to management.
Conduct regular visits to educational institutions across the UAE for meetings, presentations, and relationship building.
Represent the company at industry events, education fairs, and exhibitions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system.
Submit regular reports on client interactions, pipeline status, market feedback, and competitor intelligence.
