Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Engineer – Interior Projects located in Chennai at UEducate Global Private Limited. The Executive Engineer will be responsible for overseeing interior projects, managing construction activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver quality results.

Job Requirements:

• Strong foundational knowledge of interior design and associated works
• Proven experience in the execution of interior fit-out projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and interior drawings
• Expertise in estimation and preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Understanding the drawings and executions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, designers, and contractors for seamless project execution.
• Plan and schedule project timelines to ensure timely delivery.

Site Execution

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities for interior works.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings and design specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.

Technical Oversight

• Interpret architectural/interior drawings and details accurately.
• Provide technical input and resolve on-site challenges during execution.

Material & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the timely delivery of materials.
• Verify material quality and quantity as per project requirements.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations on site.
• Conduct quality checks and rectify deviations immediately.

Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation

• Prepare estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for interior work.
• Track material usage and assist in budget control.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain project documentation, daily progress reports, and measurement records.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding project status.

Team Supervision

• Lead a team of site supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Assign tasks and ensure proper workflow on site.
