About The Opportunity
A fast-growing organisation in the education-technology (EdTech) sector delivering digital learning, LMS and enterprise training solutions to schools, colleges and corporate L&D teams. We are seeking an on-site Business Development Executive to drive new client acquisition, manage full sales cycles, and expand institutional partnerships across India. This is a field-first role focused on B2B sales, live demos, pilots and closing revenue-generating deals.Role & Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify and convert inbound and outbound leads to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations, needs assessments and pilot deployments for schools, universities and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline in CRM; prepare forecasts and weekly activity reports for Sales Leadership.
- Negotiate commercial terms, close contracts and coordinate with implementation/customer-success teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Develop territory and account plans, identify market opportunities and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers (principals, heads of L&D, procurement).
- Represent the company at education events, conferences and partner meetings to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in EdTech, SaaS or enterprise solutions with a demonstrated quota attainment record.
- Proven ability to close multi-stakeholder deals involving schools, colleges or corporate L&D buyers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills; confident running on-site demos and pilot discussions.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho or similar) and disciplined pipeline management.
- Bachelor's degree; valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively for on-site client engagements across India.
- High ownership, self-motivated, consultative selling mindset and ability to work independently in an on-site environment.
Preferred
- Experience selling LMS, eLearning platforms, assessments or corporate training solutions.
- Existing relationships with school chains, universities or corporate L&D teams and multilingual capability for regional markets.
