E-commerce Executive Company: Shanthi Tailors Location: Mylapore, Chennai, India Reports to: E-commerce Manager / Business Owner Job SummaryShanthi Tailors is seeking for a E-commerce Executive to manage and grow our online sales channels. This role is responsible for the entire online customer lifecycle, from managing product listings and executing digital marketing campaigns to processing orders and providing excellent online customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about translating our brand's unique in-store experience to the digital world. Key Responsibilities Website Management: Manage and update product listings across our e-commerce platforms, ensuring all details (descriptions, specifications, pricing, images) are accurate and compelling. Monitor and manage online inventory levels, coordinating with the stock team to prevent discrepancies. Assist in updating website content, including banners, promotional pop-ups, and landing pages. Order Fulfillment: Oversee the day-to-day processing of online orders, from initial receipt to final dispatch. Coordinate with the packing and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of all orders. Manage online returns and exchanges efficiently. Online Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for all online customer inquiries (via email, chat, and phone). Provide expert advice on products, sizing, custom orders, and shipping. Resolve any customer issues promptly and professionally. Digital Marketing Support: Assist in the execution of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, email marketing campaigns, and social media promotions. Help prepare content (photos, videos, simple graphics) for online platforms. Reporting & Analytics: Track key e-commerce metrics (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates, average order value). Prepare regular reports on sales performance and customer feedback. Qualifications & Skills Required: Proven experience in an e-commerce role or a similar digital position. Required: Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms and website content management systems (CMS). Required: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Required: Strong understanding of digital marketing principles (SEO, social media, email). Highly Preferred: A strong interest in or knowledge of Indian classical dance, temple jewellery, and cultural apparel. Experience: Proficiency with basic photo editing tools (like Canva) is a plus. Personal: Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
