Position: Software Developer (.NET Technologies)Location: NoidaEmployment Type: Full-Time________________________________________Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer with expertise in Visual Basic .NET, C# .NET, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining retail Point of Sale (POS) software and strong domain knowledge in accounting, finance, and retail, pharmacy.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:1. Software Development & Maintenanceo Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Visual Basic .NET and C# .NET.o Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and procedures in SQL Server.o Implement new features and functionality in retail POS systems.2. Domain Expertise Utilizationo Leverage expertise in accounting, finance, and pharmacy to design solutions tailored to domain-specific needs.o Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards within the software.3. System Analysis & Integrationo Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate POS systems with accounting and inventory systems.4. Performance Optimizationo Identify and resolve performance issues in existing applications.o Conduct regular system checks and improvements to maintain software efficiency.5. User Support & Documentationo Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, processes, and updates.________________________________________Required Skills and Qualifications:• Technical Skills:o Proficiency in Visual Basic .NET, C# .NET development is mandatory.o Expertise in SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, and database design.o Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control and agile methodologies.• Domain Knowledge:o Strong understanding of retail POS systems, including inventory and billing.o Proficient in accounting principles and financial management processes.o Knowledge of Pharmacy & Retail POS workflows, including inventory management, prescription handling, and compliance requirements.• Experience:o 3+ years of experience in software development for retail POS and/or pharmacy systems.o Experience in developing software solutions with accounting and financial integration.• Soft Skills:o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.o Strong communication and collaboration skills.o Ability to work independently and within a team environment.________________________________________Preferred Qualifications:.• Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks (ASP.NET, Angular Or React) will be an added advantage.
