Dispatch Executive

Job Summary:The Warehouse & Dispatch Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations including inventory control, material handling, order processing, and dispatch management. The role ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment, efficient space utilization, safety compliance, and coordination with logistics partners for smooth dispatch operations. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse ManagementSupervise all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and issuance of materials. Maintain proper stock levels, manage inventory accuracy, and conduct regular stock audits. Implement and monitor FIFO/LIFO methods and ensure proper material handling. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse at all times. Optimize space utilization and material flow within the warehouse. Dispatch ManagementPlan, coordinate, and monitor the dispatch of customer orders on schedule. Verify dispatch documentation (invoices, packing lists, transport challans, e-way bills, etc.). Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely delivery. Track shipments and resolve issues like delays, damages, or shortages. Maintain dispatch records and daily shipment reports. Team & Process ManagementLead and train warehouse and dispatch staff to improve efficiency. Implement process improvements and automation tools (e.g., barcode scanning, ERP). Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety standards. Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Accounts for smooth dispatch flow. Key Skills Required:Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and dispatch systems. Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS software. Good communication, leadership, and coordination skills. Problem-solving and analytical mindset. Knowledge of transportation documentation (e-way bills, challans, etc.). Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce (MBA preferred). Experience: 3–8 years in warehouse, logistics, or dispatch management roles. Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP/WMS software. Performance Indicators (KPIs):Order fulfillment accuracy (%). On-time dispatch performance. Inventory accuracy and shrinkage rate. Warehouse utilization efficiency. Transport and logistics cost optimization.
