Dispatch Executive

Job Title: Dispatch Executive Location: Bhiwandi Offered Salary: 25 to 30 K gross. Department: Operations/ Logistics/ Warehouse Reports To: Dispatch Manager   Job Summary: The Dispatch Executive is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily dispatch of goods and products to customers, ensuring that deliveries are carried out efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities: Order Dispatch: Plan, schedule, and execute daily dispatch of goods based on orders and priority. Coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate picking and packing of goods. Logistics Coordination: Optimize delivery routes to minimize delivery time and fuel costs. Track and monitor deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch and delivery of goods. Team Coordination: Assign tasks to drivers and dispatch staff, ensuring all roles are covered and all deliveries are scheduled. Maintain a roster and monitor driver performance and availability. Inventory Management: Track inventory and dispatch items to ensure order accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly. Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels. Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for customers on delivery-related inquiries. Handle complaints, delays, or any dispatch-related issues and escalate when necessary. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular dispatch reports to track performance metrics and recommend process improvements. Analyze delivery performance and suggest measures for reducing delays and improving efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field Proven experience in a logistics, dispatch, or warehouse role. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in logistics.   Work Environment: May require flexibility in working hours to manage urgent dispatches.
