· The Solutions & Consulting Director (India) will help to identify and shape consultative deals and play a role in the delivery of those projects as a SME / consulting leader on the engagement.
· As a recognized industry/subject matter expert, uses extensive industry expertise and relationships to partner with sales and commercial BU’s to develop strategic account plans by creating client solutions.
· Provides industry expertise of tools, technologies and best practice processes in a consultative manner to client base for purpose of assessing client needs and recommending solutions to unique problems.
· Uses knowledge base gained through client in conjunction with industry expertise to formulate a set of recommendations for senior client stakeholders.
· Creates presentations and reports to deliver SCM assessment recommendations to client executives. Interacts in a consultative manner with all levels of management at client sites, in writing and on video conference calls.
· Has in in-depth knowledge of clients’ business model, technology platform, products and services used, contractual agreements, fee structure key business contacts and volume/revenue statistics.
· Proactively monitors market trends to assess business impact.
· Establishes strategic plans to seek out new opportunities. Identifies new areas of opportunity by analysing technology, customer requirements, workflows, market trends and competitive gaps.
· Prepares market presentations for management to support business plans and strategy.
· As a SCM expert, sought out for advice and consultation. Leads, participates, and presents values of solutions to key relevant organizations, conferences, and forums.
· Comfortable with all aspects of the consulting lifecycle including:
o Innovation and Thought Leadership: Actively generates content within Bristlecone and in industry publications, events, etc. to showcase innovative and thought leading ideas in supply chain and logistics. Partners with marketing and branding to ensure expertise is positioned appropriately.
o Pre-sales: works proactively with Sales team to identify and present our capabilities to potential clients
o Sales: driving RFPs in a consulting-led environment; leading orals presentations across an integrated team; constructing and pulling together the right resources across consulting, OCM, and the solution teams for the proposed solution
o Delivery: Managing the P&L of individual projects and across a portfolio of engagements; ensuring the consulting team for an engagement delivers against their committed deliverables with high client satisfaction
o Post-sales: follows up on additional relationship-based opportunities in partnership with account leadership
· Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, statistics or related field
· 15+ years of consulting and experience in directly related fields including planning, supply planning, demand planning, predictive demand sensing, inventory optimization, S&OP, strategic sourcing, procurement execution, logistics, transportation management, etc. etc. Ideal candidates will has at least some AI-relevant insights/experience/certifications in one or more of these areas.
· Must have a background and proven results in strategy and business consulting. Prefer experience with Big 4, Accenture, and IBM. Experience with strategic roadmap development, risk planning and management, business architecture, etc. all preferred.
· Must have experience in leading consultative sales efforts.
· Should have experience in leading consulting teams for both client delivery and internal consulting team lead (e.g. experience with management and development of internal consulting talent)
· Excellent organizational and customer service skills
· Excellent verbal, written and group communication skills
· Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
· High level presentation skills
· Proven ability to understand complex business and technical concepts and to be able to make good judgments when faced with trade-offs
· Strong results orientation with demonstrated track record of success
· Excellent influencing and analytical skills with decision makers and product users
· Strongly prefer candidates with Manufacturing industry expertise
· Should have experience working in relevant SCM packaged application environments (e.g. SAP S/4, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, etc.)
· Should have experience and capability to interact with C-level and VP level audiences for both sales and delivery; ideal candidates will also have experience in working with the SCM analyst community.
· Ideal candidate is located in Mumbai (preferred) or Pune (second choice).
