As India stands on the brink of the 4th industrial revolution, technologies like Artificial Intelligence are rapidly reshaping the future of learning and work. Yet, millions of students—especially girls from underserved communities—remain excluded due to limited access to STEM education and the growing digital divide. While access to schooling has improved over the past 15 years, exposure to computer science and 21st-century skills remains alarmingly low.
With India’s digital sector expected to double by 2025, creating over 60 million jobs, the urgency to act is now. Early, inclusive interventions are essential to equip every child—regardless of gender or background—with the digital skills needed to thrive in a tech-driven future. This is not just a challenge—it’s a defining opportunity to reimagine education for equity and impact.
Muskaan Dreams is a Forbes recognised tech non-profit organization committed to transforming the quality of education in India by integrating digital innovation into government school systems. Our vision is to build a future where every child, regardless of background, can harness the power of technology to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
We believe that empowering teachers and students with the right digital tools is key to bridging learning gaps and creating equitable opportunities. Our model focuses on building the digital capacity of government schools by enabling teachers, leveraging existing infrastructure, and embedding technology into classroom practices.
Since inception, Muskaan Dreams has impacted over 500,000+ students, worked with more than 5,000 government schools, and trained 15,000+ teachers across six Indian states. Despite increased investments in education, a large number of government schools still lack functional ICT labs and effective digital integration in pedagogy. We address these gaps by partnering closely with state education departments to drive systemic change, ensuring that technology is not just available—but meaningfully used—to improve learning outcomes at scale.
Our work is supported by some of the credible funders like Fidelity APAC Foundation, Central Square Foundation, Dell, LTIMindtree, Amazon, Motilal Oswal Foundation, Lenovo and DXC Technology.
The Director Program & Impact will lead the design, execution, and scaling of tech-enabled solutions through systemic efforts aimed at transforming teaching and learning across public education systems. Positioned at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and impact, this leadership role is responsible for architecting and implementing scalable, high-quality programs aligned with the organization’s mission and national education priorities.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in education, systemic reform, and program design, with a strong ability to translate on-ground insights into impactful, tech-driven models. The role requires a proven track record in leveraging emerging technologies—such as AI, digital content, and education data systems—to enhance student learning outcomes at scale.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Director will work closely with government stakeholders, funders, and internal teams to co-create sustainable, future-ready solutions. They will play a critical role in ensuring effective program management, robust impact measurement, and long-term alignment with frameworks such as NEP 2020 and the ICT Policy, driving systemic change across multiple states.
