Job Description

Job Title: Treasury Director Location: Mumbai (On-site) Salary: Up to ₹25 LPA Client: A prestigious NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) Reporting to: Country CFO About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Treasury Director to join a high-growth, reputed NBFC based in Mumbai. This leadership role will focus on raising debt funding , managing liquidity , and interfacing with key financial institutions to support the company’s strategic expansion across India. Key Responsibilities: Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily liquidity, cash forecasting, and cash flow planning. ALCO Management: Drive the company’s Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) and manage interest rate, duration, and currency risks. External Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary representative with banks, securities firms, and financial institutions. Funding Strategy: Build a strong pipeline for new funding transactions and lead end-to-end execution, including coordination with internal legal teams. Rating Agencies: Be the main point of contact for rating agencies, handle documentation, and work towards improving credit ratings. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to treasury team members. Ad hoc Duties: Take on additional responsibilities based on aptitude and business needs. Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar corporate treasury role; candidates from banking backgrounds will also be considered. Prior experience in gold lending or financial services is highly valued. Proven track record in debt raising, ALM, and rating agency management . Deep knowledge of both domestic and international financial markets , and local currency funding structures . Skills & Competencies: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint . Strong analytical and communication skills. High level of independence and initiative . Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment . Willing to travel across India as per business needs. Show more Show less
