What You Will Be Doing
- Cultivating and applying deep education product expertise to inform strategic direction
- Creating technical specifications that resolve critical technical decisions and emphasize simplicity, efficiency, and sustainability
- Deploying generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering workflows, consistent with the organizational goal of minimizing manual effort

Director Of Product Architecture Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the CTO for one or more education products, owning foundational capabilities and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic leadership
Basic Requirements
- Deep experience or interest in data-driven learning science
- 7+ years of experience making the important architecture and design decisions on software projects, such as the application of architecture design patterns or significant open source technologies
- 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving the use of cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
- 4+ years of experience in positions with full technical and delivery ownership on a revenue-generating product
- Experience building product features that make advanced use of Generative AI
- Experience using Generative AI to simplify work processes

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
