What You Will Be Doing
- Building and applying comprehensive education product knowledge to inform strategic direction
- Creating technical specifications that establish critical architectural choices while prioritizing simplicity, operational efficiency, and sustainable design
- Deploying generative AI capabilities to automate and optimize engineering workflows, supporting the organizational goal of minimizing manual effort

Director Of Product Architecture Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical leader (CTO) for one or more education products, taking ownership of foundational capabilities and generating business impact through flawless execution and strategic judgment
Basic Requirements
- Significant experience or demonstrated passion in data-driven learning science
- 7+ years of experience leading critical architecture and design decisions on software initiatives, including application of architectural design patterns or major open source technologies
- 2+ years of experience making design choices that involve cloud computing platforms (primarily AWS)
- 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery accountability for a revenue-generating product
- Track record of building product features that leverage advanced Generative AI capabilities
- Proven use of Generative AI to streamline and simplify operational workflows

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
