Job Description

As the Director of Human Resources at Jaipur Marriott Hotel, you will report directly to the property General Manager and be a key member of the property executive committee. Your role will involve contributing high-level human resource generalist knowledge to oversee talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and development for property employees. You will work independently to develop processes aligned with broader business objectives and utilize a Human Resource Business Plan to deliver HR services that drive business success. **Core Responsibilities:** - Execute and follow-up on engagement survey activities - Champion talent management in support of diversity strategy - Translate business priorities into HR strategies - Implement HR initiatives at the property - Lead succession planning activities - Monitor effective use of myHR by managers and employees - Participate in succession management and workforce planning - Supervise on-property and market-based HR resources **Staffing and Recruitment:** - Analyze open positions to balance talent development and business needs - Coach and facilitate the selection and interviewing process - Optimize work processes and staffing - Make staffing decisions and develop hiring strategies - Monitor sourcing and staffing outcomes - Ensure managers are competent in assessing hourly staff **Employee Compensation:** - Stay current in compensation and competitive environments - Lead hourly employee compensation strategy planning - Champion proper use of compensation systems and programs - Participate in internal equity analysis and resolve issues - Create and implement total compensation packages **Staff Development:** - Ensure HR staff completes duties and responsibilities - Provide training on employee-related HR information - Support HR staff on employee relations questions - Reinforce positive employee relations concepts Marriott International is committed to diversity and inclusion, providing equal opportunities to all.
