Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities :

Sponsorship Strategy:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy aligned with organizational goals.

• Identify and prioritize potential sponsors based on strategic fit and revenue potential.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in sponsorship management.

Sponsor Relationship Management:

• Conduct needs assessments to understand sponsor objectives and expectations.

• Ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement among sponsors.

Proposal Development:

• Lead the creation of compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations.

• Customize proposals to align with the unique needs and goals of each sponsor.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sponsorship deliverables are achievable.

Contract Negotiation:

• Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements, ensuring terms meet both parties' expectations.

• Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.

• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing.

• Lead negotiations for complex sales and sponsorship agreements.

Revenue Generation:

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sponsorship revenue targets.

• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling sponsorships.

• Analyze and report on sponsorship revenue performance and sales data and market trends to identify new revenue streams.

• Drive revenue generation through direct sales efforts and strategic partnerships.

• Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets in alignment with organizational goals.

Event Integration:

• Collaborate with events and marketing teams to seamlessly integrate sponsors into events.

• Ensure sponsors receive optimal visibility and exposure before, during, and after events.

• Oversee the execution of sponsorship activation plans.

Market Research:

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive sponsorship offerings.

• Stay informed about sponsor needs and expectations in the current market landscape.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.

Global Sponsorship Management:

• Lead the development and execution of a global sponsorship strategy.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with key sponsors and partners.

• Negotiate sponsorship agreements to maximize revenue and mutual benefits.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global sales and sponsorship team.

• Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve individual and collective targets.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Foster effective collaboration with internal teams, including marketing, events, and product development. • Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on sales and sponsorship performance. • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.

Performance Analytics:

• Utilize data analytics to measure and analyze sales and sponsorship performance.

• Implement strategies based on performance insights to optimize results.
