In this role, you have the opportunity to

..responsible for driving the creative vision and ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences across our mobile and web applications. You will lead and mentor a talented design team, collaborate closely with engineering and product management. This role requires hands-on expertise in fintech app development and a strong command of design tools like Figma. Responsibilities will include

Functional Expertise

1. Creative Vision and Brand Alignment: Define and communicate the creative vision for our fintech products, ensuring all designs are aligned with our brand identity and meet user needs effectively.

2. Hands-On Design Excellence: Be a hands-on design expert, utilizing your proficiency in design tools such as Figma to actively contribute to the creation of visually stunning and functional designs.

3. User-Centered Design: Champion user-centered design principles, conduct user research, and advocate for the best design practices to ensure our products meet the needs and expectations of our customers.

4. Design Strategy and Innovation: Drive design strategy and innovation, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our products' user experiences.

Problem Solving

1. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into innovative and user-centric designs.

Interaction:

1. Manage focused occasionally complex stakeholder relationships with support from manager; represent activities to senior management with support

2. Awareness and detailed understanding of overall business and industry context

3. Lead and manage a small product design team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Provide mentorship, coaching, and feedback to elevate the team& skills and deliver high-quality design outputs.

Qualification & Experience (type & industry)

● BE/B.Tech or equivalent Degree. MBA is good to have

● Minimum 8 years of experience in designing fintech mobile and web applications

● Proven experience leading and managing a medium-sized design team

● A strong portfolio showcasing your fintech design expertise and successful product launches

Skills & know-how

● Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively translate user needs to the product team.

● Experience in a startup environment is a plus, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-

paced setting.
