Job Title: Director – Business Development (US Market)
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Business Development Director to drive revenue growth in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in selling product engineering services and digital learning solutions to eLearning content and platform vendors and ISV clients. This is a hybrid role encompassing hunting (new business acquisition) responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development (Hunting):
  • Qualify, nurture, and close leads: Own and achieve individual revenue targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities for both technology and content learning solutions.
  • Self-lead generation: Leverage your personal and professional network within the US IT and Digital Learning ecosystem to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline. This is a key requirement of leveraging personal network to generate self leads.
  • Proactively pursue new prospects through cold outreach, networking events, inbound leads, and referrals.
  • Execute outreach strategies that communicate value, address customer pain points, and differentiate our offerings in a competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with the pre-sales and marketing teams to craft compelling business proposals, decks, case studies, and client presentations.
  • Conduct regular account reviews with clients to track project progress, explore additional needs, and present new service offerings and partner products.
2. Strategic Outreach & Market Engagement:
  • Actively participate in industry events, forums, webinars, and conferences to strengthen the company’s brand visibility and expand the network of potential prospects.
  • Stay abreast of evolving market trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies to identify and act on new growth opportunities.
  • Contribute insights and feedback from client interactions into the company’s service portfolio planning and go-to-market strategies.
3. Sales Execution and Collaboration:
  • Drive the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Collaborate with proposal teams, legal, pricing, and delivery units to create customized proposals and pricing models aligned with client needs.
  • Ensure timely reporting and forecasting of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems.

Candidate Profile:
  • Experience: 8–15 years of experience in selling technology services and digital learning solutions, with a strong track record of client acquisition and revenue growth in the US market with a strong personal network in eLearning content and platform vendors space.
  • Market Expertise: Proven experience in selling to ISVs or enterprises in the US; knowledge of the digital transformation or learning tech landscape is preferred.
  • Lead Generation: Demonstrated ability to generate own leads using personal network, social selling, and strategic outreach.
  • Account Management: Strong experience in managing and growing large client accounts with multi-year relationships.
  • Network: Well-established professional network in the US market.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills. Strong business acumen and solutioning mindset.
  • Independence: Self-starter who can operate independently and collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams.
