Director, Brand Strategy and Client Partnerships


  • Location:

    Pune, India, in office at WeWork Futura
  • Work hours:

    Monday to Friday, standard India daytime hours
  • Compensation:

    ₹25 to ₹35 LPA base with performance bonus tied to client satisfaction, retention, and campaign outcomes
  • Employment type:

    Full time, on site.
  • Relocation:

    Support available. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in India.


Service reminder: even when a tactic or extra revision is not spelled out in the contract, the goal is to keep enterprise clients happy so they renew and expand. This role exists to make that happen.


Why this role exists

We manage about $1M in brand contracts for enterprise US clients. You will be the senior marketer who turns client goals and market signals into clear, creative campaign plans across social, search, content, influencer, SEO, and paid partnerships. You will lead a small team to execute, keep the work on voice and on brief, and you will be the face the client trusts.

What you will do

  • Own the client portfolio

    for enterprise US brands with annual retainers starting near 150K USD.
  • Lead strategy

    : turn briefs, market trends, and community insights into integrated campaign plans with clear hypotheses, messaging, channels, and measurement.
  • Package and sell the right mix of services

    : social forum engagements, SEO, paid amplification, content, email, and influencer where appropriate.
  • Write creative briefs

    and partner with copy, design, and community specialists to produce on‑brand assets.
  • Present to clients

    : align on strategy, gain approvals, handle feedback, and keep momentum.
  • Oversee execution

    by a small team that manages day‑to‑day posts and comments. Step in hands on when needed.
  • Quality control

    : protect brand voice, product naming, and compliance before anything goes live.
  • Measure and optimize

    : define KPIs, build lightweight dashboards, and report weekly insights that clients can act on.
  • Grow accounts

    : identify expansion opportunities and draft scopes that clients want to buy.
  • Contain issues quickly

    when something goes off brief, then fix the root cause so it does not repeat.


Out of scope

  • Hands‑on ad buying in Meta or Google
  • Owning media budgets end to end
  • Hiring new headcount


What you bring

  • 5 plus years in agencies that serve US clients, including time on enterprise accounts. Big‑agency or multi‑brand experience preferred.
  • A portfolio of

    integrated campaigns

    you led from idea to results.
  • Strong creative judgment on voice, messaging, and concepts that travel across channels.
  • Client partnership savvy: you can read the room, simplify complexity, and keep senior stakeholders confident.
  • Team leadership for small, cross‑functional squads with a bias to ship.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.


Nice to have

  • US fintech and consumer product experience
  • Familiarity with SEO strategy and paid media planning at a high level
  • Process design for approvals, QA, and handoffs


How success will be measured

  • Strategy to launch cadence: at least one meaningful campaign concept per client per quarter, delivered on time.
  • Client satisfaction and retention: positive weekly feedback, clean QBRs, renewals on schedule.
  • Business impact: KPI lift tied to each campaign plan, plus accepted upsell scopes.
  • Quality: product naming and compliance accuracy at 99 percent by day 60, 99.5 percent by day 90.


Your first 90 days

  • Days 0 to 30

    : Audit clients, products, audiences, and current programs. Build one campaign hypothesis per client with a simple KPI tree and test plan.
  • Days 31 to 60

    : Launch at least one integrated pilot per client. Standardize creative briefs, calendars, and reporting.
  • Days 61 to 90

    : Present learnings and next‑quarter roadmap. Lock a small set of upsell scopes aligned to results.


Reporting and team

  • Reports to: Head of Operations
  • Direct reports: brand managers and copywriters, with access to design, dev and analytics teams
  • Works closely with: automation, SEO, and paid partners
