Digital Service Manager - Industrial Network ConnectivityAutomotive BusinessAre you interested in managing Automotive’s Industrial Network – the engine of SKF Automotive Factories' connectivity globally?At SKF, you’ll own and manage the Industrial Network platform operated by our supplier, overseeing its full lifecycle to power a standardized solution and deliver end-to-end service. You’ll ensure the network is available, reliable, secure – and enable our factories to use it effectively and confidently.You’ll be at the center of daily Industrial network management, working to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and the adoption of best-in-class solutions. Engagement in significant business disturbance incidents contributes to the depth of understanding.Vendor Management: Being the contract owner and managing supplier relationships, follow up on service levels, root cause analysis, supplier performance to safeguard business operational stability, and ensure that the supplier delivers to the agreed contract framework.Service Roadmap: Develop and execute the roadmap for the Service to reach business and service goals and objectives with continuous improvements and cost efficiency.Budget control: Developing and owning the budget and forecast, delivering within given guidelines.Collaboration: You’ll collaborate with users, suppliers, and key stakeholders like the Network Solution Architect, Security team, and Service Management teams for successful Operations of the Service. You’ll work closely with the Enterprise Network Service Owner in our team, supporting each other to ensure smooth operations.Technical knowledge: You’ll bring a solid understanding of industrial networking to manage outsourced services efficiently. The role focuses on Phoenix Solutions routing, firewalls, switch technology, and protocols like Modbus, Profinet, CIP, and PTP. Familiarity with CISCO, zero trust, IoT connectivity, VPN, and security concepts is essential.Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with the Security team to ensure that our infrastructure is secure and compliant, protecting the organization from potentialIn summary, you will manage the Service and oversee the progression of this area. This is a practical role focused on delivering results and ensuring progress for the Service.
