Digital Sales Manager

The Digital Sales Manager will be responsible for driving advertising revenue for Aajkaal.in and Daakbangla.com across direct sales, programmatic, and partnership channels. This role requires building strong relationships with brands, agencies, and ad networks while creating customized digital media solutions that deliver ROI for advertisers.Key Responsibilities:• Revenue Growth: Achieve monthly and quarterly digital ad sales targets through direct brand sales, agency partnerships, and programmatic channels.• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities with local, national, and international advertisers.• Client Solutions: Create customized media proposals (banner ads, native content, branded content, video sponsorships, programmatic inventory, etc.).• Agency & Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, trading desks, and ad networks.• Data-Driven Sales: Use audience insights, traffic analytics, and engagement metrics to strengthen pitches.• Collaboration: Work closely with editorial, marketing, and product teams to develop innovative ad solutions.• Account Management: Ensure timely campaign delivery, performance monitoring, and client reporting.• Market Intelligence: Stay updated on digital advertising trends, competitor offerings, and industry benchmarks.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Media, or related field.• 5+ years of experience in digital ad sales (preferably in publishing, media, or ad-tech).• Strong network of brand and agency contacts.• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding digital sales targets.• Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Programmatic Trading, Native & Branded Content Sales.• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:• Understanding of the news publishing ecosystem in India.• Knowledge of regional/Bengali advertising market dynamics.• Hands-on experience with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, Comscore).• Strong storytelling ability to position Aajkaal.in and Daakbangla.com as premium media platforms.
