Profile Summary

We are seeking for dynamic Social Media Executive, who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization's social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and increase followership across various social media platforms. You will be an integral part of our marketing team, collaborating closely with content creators, designers, and marketing managers to ensure cohesive brand messaging and impactful campaigns.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies

  • Create and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Identify target audiences and tailor content to effectively reach and engage with them.
  • Research industry trends and competitor strategies to stay ahead of the curve

Content Creation and Curation

  • Generate high-quality and engaging content for all social media platforms, including text posts, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Curate user-generated content and leverage it to enhance brand credibility and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, and content, to develop cohesive and compelling content.

Community Management

  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly and professionally.
  • Foster positive interactions with followers and address any inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Cultivate and nurture online communities by fostering meaningful conversations and building relationships with followers.

Analytics and Performance Tracking

  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track and analyze key metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
  • Generate regular reports to assess the performance of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use insights to optimize content strategy, posting schedules, and ad targeting for maximum impact and ROI.

Brand Representation and Voice Management

  • Understand the founder's personal brand and voice, and effectively represent them on social media platforms.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging and tone across all social media channels to reinforce brand identity and values.
  • Collaborate with the founder to develop content that resonates with their target audience and aligns with their personal brand.

Social Media Advertising and Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimize social media advertising campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust targeting, messaging, and budgets as needed to achieve campaign objectives.
  • Stay updated on emerging advertising trends and best practices to ensure campaigns are innovative and effective.

Stay Up-to-Date with social media Trends and Best Practices

  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates.
  • Research and test new features and functionalities on social media platforms to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Share insights and recommendations with internal teams to inform overall marketing and business strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and customer support, to align social media efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Provide social media support for integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring consistency and synergy across channels.

Crisis Management

  • Monitor social media channels for any potential crises or reputational risks, and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively address and mitigate negative feedback or incidents on social media.

Stay Compliant with Legal and Regulatory Requirements

  • Ensure all social media activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, including data privacy and advertising standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in social media policies and regulations, and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

Knowledge

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience: Preferred 2 year of experience in social media management.
  • Knowledge of tourism industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and advertising tools.
