CAD Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a CAD Designer to develop accurate 2D and 3D technical models for products related to space science. The ideal candidate should have strong CAD software skills, a solid understanding of mechanical design principles, and hands-on experience in prototyping. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed technical drawings and 3D simulations using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred). Support product lifecycle: concept, prototype, test, and final design. Ensure design accuracy considering materials, dimensions, and specifications. Coordinate with R&D, engineers, vendors, and prototyping teams. Maintain cost and material records; support vendor communication. Review and revise designs; stay updated on design trends and tools. Required Qualifications & Skills: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design (M.Tech. preferred). 0–2 years of experience in CAD/3D design. Proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office Suite. Added Advantage: ANSYS and 3D printing knowledge. Strong design fundamentals and attention to detail. Good communication and collaboration skills.
