Currently, we are looking for a Digital + Commercial Technology Lead- Offshore Technical Resource Management to join our team.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Digital + Commercial Technology Lead to oversee and manage our offshore technical team in India. As the team lead, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT delivery, outstanding leadership abilities, and a proven track record of supporting Sales & Marketing functions, including Digital, Commercial, Brands, Marketing, and 1P data stakeholders.

This role requires close collaboration with onshore teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technical solutions. Responsibilities include providing production support, managing work intake across diverse team portfolios, overseeing resource allocation, ensuring on-time and on-budget project execution, and managing team budgets. The successful candidate will also focus on talent management and maintaining high team morale.

Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Hyderabad four days a week and be available during US Eastern Standard Time hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Lead and manage an offshore technical team, fostering high performance, motivation, attention to detail, and professional growth.
  • Project Deliverables: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring all timelines, scope, and budget requirements are met with urgency. Provide structured weekly status reports to the onshore team, highlighting progress on key initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with onshore teams to ensure offshore activities are fully aligned with overall business objectives and project goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate and manage technical resources to meet project and operational demands, while continuously seeking ways to enhance team productivity. Ensure up-to-date and accurate reporting on resource assignments, clearly communicating who is responsible for each task or initiative.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of technical delivery.
  • Communication: Ensure transparent and effective communication between offshore and onshore teams regarding production support, project status, risks, and issues. Understand business priorities and respond accordingly.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational challenges for seamless project execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by providing regular updates and addressing concerns or requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in Digital/DTC technologies, or a similar field, including a minimum of 5 years managing offshore technical teams.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and project delivery methodologies. Knowledge and experience working with Agile Development teams and Scrum Methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage teams across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a global organization with distributed teams.
  • Knowledge and certifications in ITIL, Agile, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with SOX and other compliance requirements in the context of delivery and operations practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Anaplan is a plus.
