The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering with at least 4-6 years of experience. Job Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive hydraulic system solutions tailored to customer and application requirements. This includes studying specification documents, performing intricate engineering calculations, designing hydraulic schematics, sizing and selecting appropriate products, and creating custom manifold designs and manufacturing drawings. Deliver expert application engineering solutions for machinery and equipment within the industrial hydraulic market, understanding unique application needs, and proposing suitable Danfoss products/systems. Lead engineering deliverables in hydraulic system development projects (NPD projects) through a disciplined phase-gate process and actively participate in project reviews. Perform and meticulously document engineering calculations for both conventional and electro-hydraulic system designs, and develop system-level tools to enhance efficiency. Create and release drawings within the PLM system, conducting thorough quality checks to ensure designs meet both Danfoss and customer standards/requirements. Maintain effective verbal and written communication with customers, team members, and cross-functional departments. Background & Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering. Sound knowledge and understanding of key hydraulic products, including Pumps, Valves, and Actuators , coupled with a basic understanding of electronics in hydraulics. Working experience in Hydraulic Power Unit design and a strong knowledge of various hydraulic applications within industrial market segments. Proficiency in 2D & 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD and UG NX , and hands-on experience with PLM systems . Strong analytical skills with proven experience in handling engineering deliverables for critical system development projects, from concept development through to product launch. Sound knowledge of DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) methodologies and tools ; Professional Certification in DFSS (Green Belt) is an added advantage. Strong communication (verbal and written) and convincing abilities.
