Team Manager - Mechanical

As a Design and Product Engineering Team Manager, your role will involve managing an onsite team of Mechanical / Electrical Design Engineers and Product Engineers. The expected team size is 40+ Engineers. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance to the team, developing and leading skill-building activities, reviewing monthly reports and timesheets, managing leave, and supporting recruitment activities for Design and Product Engineering functions. Additionally, you will be responsible for seeking customer feedback about onsite engineers and taking necessary actions, engaging with employees, and coordinating activities for the deployment of onsite employees to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Manage onsite Mechanical / Electrical Design Engineers and Product Engineers team - Provide guidance and support to the team - Develop and lead skill-building activities - Review monthly reports and timesheets, manage leave, and provide data for financial activities - Seek periodic customer feedback and take necessary actions - Engage with employees and support recruitment activities - Coordinate activities for deployment of onsite employees to clients Qualifications Required: - Experience: 8 to 12 years - Qualification: BE/ BTech./ ME / MTech in Mechanical / Production / Aerospace Engineering or Equivalent - Sound experience in Design and Product development activities - Good understanding of design tools such as Creo, NX, SolidWorks and GD&T - Familiarity with tools and techniques like DFSS, DVA, DFM/DFA/DFS, 7-step problem solving process - Knowledge of manufacturing processes like casting, fabrication, forging, plastic molding, etc. - Understanding of mechanical product domains like engines and engine applications - Ability to develop training material and impart trainings - Strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in MS-office tools for creating reports and documentation for leadership review Please note that the company did not provide any additional details in the job description.,
