You will be responsible for fluid body volume extraction and geometry refinement, along with performing high-quality mesh creation to discretize fluid body geometry domains. Utilizing ANSYS Fluent for CFD analysis, you will analyze and predict fluid flow distribution. Your role will involve delivering high-quality technical reports and presentations to offer technical support on CFD projects. Additionally, you will be expected to provide expertise in interpreting flow physics and devising alternative solutions to meet customer needs. Proficiency in utilizing CFD modeling software packages, particularly expertise in ANSYS Fluent, is a must. Hands-on experience with ANSYS Fluent, Spaceclaim, and MS-Office tools is mandatory. It would be beneficial to have experience with STAR CCM+, OpenFoam, and Python. A thorough knowledge of numerical modeling and methodologies, including turbulence modeling, multi-phase flow, and non-Newtonian fluids, is required. You should also have hands-on experience in post-processing techniques such as particle tracking and movie clip creation to extract meaningful insights from simulation results. A proven track record in executing unsteady (transient) simulations to capture dynamic fluid behavior is essential. Familiarity with 3D CAD packages like Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD for seamless integration with CFD workflows is preferred.
