Job Description

As a Senior Engineer - Electrical Design at Rotex Automation in Vadodara, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to solenoid assembly and its components design. Your qualifications should include a Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and first-class marks in BE. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the basic function and configuration rules of all SOV, Coil, and Valve products. - Create product string building rules for standard catalog products, NCPs, and ETOs. - Modify Marketing and Production codes, Item Codes, and Drawing Numbers. - Search/Create manufacturing drawings in PDM, item codes, and BOM in ERP systems. - Interface with customers/sales to gather product requirements and prepare compliance reports. - Perform benchmarking, VA/VE activities, and product design tasks independently. - Design solenoids considering various aspects like Form/Fit/Function, Manufacturing, Assembly, Reliability, Cost, and more. - Conduct design verification using simulation software and concept testing. - Understand manufacturing processes and create manufacturing drawings independently. - Write test procedures, coordinate product assembly and testing activities. - Act as the Single Point of Contact for design activities and provide status updates regularly. - Resolve supplier, production, design validation, and customer problems using RCA and CAPA processes. - Maintain project folders as per applicable QMS systems and face audits confidently. - Prioritize, balance, and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a changing environment. - Train GETs and Design Engineers on product design and development activities. - Learn about electronics used in the product and support troubleshooting. Additional Company Details: The company requires candidates to have expertise in SolidWorks, ANSYS-Maxwell, and MS-Office. Knowledge of QMS requirements like ISO and tools such as DFMA and 8D (RCA and CAPA) is essential. Process knowledge in Machining, Plastic Injection Moulding, Gravity/Die Casting, and Sheetmetal is preferred.
