Manager Engineering- Sensing (Aerospace)

As the Engineering Manager-Sensing at EIIC Aerospace group, you will be leading and managing the Sensing engineering team within the Fluid and Electrical Distribution division. Your responsibilities will include delivering key engineering results aligned with the Engine Solution & Electrification Strategy, building organizational capability, and executing global engineering strategy. You will also lead the portfolio management, drive product innovation, and ensure successful project outcomes. Your role will involve hiring, developing, and retaining talent, fostering a learning culture, and collaborating with global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage projects portfolio, including research & development and product testing - Drive Eaton's Sensing Products Portfolio growth and team participation - Implement DFSS and Application Engineering Fundamentals in product development - Develop relationships with global stakeholders and engage talent for high performance - Utilize digital & physical prototyping for product innovation - Manage capacity and resources within the organization's budget - Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions Qualifications: - Masters Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent - Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in a multinational engineering organization - Prior experience in engineering management and talent management is required Required Skills: - Managing technical engineering teams and operations, including knowledge of Quality Management Systems - Expertise in sensors, materials, sensing applications, and product development - Knowledge of Aircraft Engine & Gearbox Systems and components - Proficiency in Design Analysis, Reliability, Manufacturing processes, and Continuous improvement methodologies - Customer-oriented approach, building relationships, and product testing experience Desired Skills: - Knowledge of Aircraft components design and Aerospace engine systems - Proficiency in DFSS, design for Reliability tools, and technical decision-making - High sense of urgency, passion for execution, and drive for personal and professional growth In this role, effective communication skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership style will be essential for success.,
